On Sunday, March 24th, 2025, The Kennedy Center presented the 26th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor to Conan O’Brien. Widely regarded as the nation’s highest recognition for comedy, the Prize honors individuals who have made a lasting impact on American humor. To celebrate Conan’s decades of impact as a writer, performer, and host across television, animation, and podcasting, the show brought together a murderers' row of comedy’s finest including John Mulaney, Will Ferrell, Sarah Silverman, Bill Burr, Nikki Glaser, Kumail Nanjiani, Stephen Colbert, Adam Sandler, David Letterman + more.

The Mark Twain Prize special featured classic clips from Conan’s work, surprise appearances by characters from his late night legacy, and hysterical tributes from friends and collaborators. The night ended with a musical performance of “Rockin’ in the Free World” by Conan and Adam Sandler,
capping off a surreal and unforgettable evening.

The special premiered globally on Netflix on May 4, 2025 and won the 2025 Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) at the 77th Emmys on September 7th 2025. I am incredibly proud to have been recognized as an Emmy-winning Producer alongside this phenomenal team.
