Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special two-hour hybrid anniversary event. "Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration" aired on ABC on December 15th.
The special paid tribute to the original Disney animation, showcasing the fan-favorite movie, never-before-seen work-in-progress “ruff” animation, behind-the-scenes footage, and featuring new musical performances by H.E.R. as Belle and Josh Groban as The Beast.
The cast also included Martin Short as Lumière, Shania Twain as Mrs. Potts, Joshua Henry as Gaston,
David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, Jon Jon Briones as Maurice, Rizwan Manji as LeFou,
Leo Abelo Perry as Chip, & Rita Moreno as the narrator.
